Job Description & Responsbilities

Responsbilities:

Deliver long-term Brand strategy & value proposition

 I.            Understand consumers better than competition and translate this into brand strategies and plans that impact consumers and drive disruption

 II.            Lead “brand book” including winning brand proposition, brand ladders and other key brand assets such as VI and product stories, from total portfolio to product specific.

  
Develop long-term Brand portfolio and NPD

  I.            Develop an innovation pipeline to drive growth agenda. Act as Business lead for innovation projects.

  II.            Generate future engine & product design strategy

  III.            Lead in-depth consumer understanding, to generate China-for-China innovation ideas. Mobilize cross team and global resource to achieve on-time launch.

  IV.            Co-work with global team to drive synergy and efficiency on innovations

  V.            Analyse geographic and category white spaces to identify new opportunities

Partner closely with local BU marketing

 I.            Deliver the RTM & launch plan for new product launch

 II.            Ensure the implementation of overall brand strategy and communication

 III.            Understand the current business performance, integrated marketing plan, consumer feedbacks etc. to optimise further brand strategy

Be the voice of the brand to the global team 

  I.            Champion China’s voice in global forums for brand & innovation

  II.            Collaborate on globally led brand design and innovation projects

  III.            Align China brand strategy under the framework of global Aptamil objectives


Requirements:

1. Proven track record of successful innovation projects and experienced in NPD process. Familiar with stage gate methodology preferred

2. Strong analytical skills to extract meaningful insights for brand value proposition and innovation

3. Strong strategic thinking, good sense of the full business picture. 

4. Good communication and interpersonal skills with stakeholders and multi-cross function team.
