Job Description & Responsbilities


The candidate should be an experienced Trade Marketing Person with sufficient knowledge and capability on brand building, trade and customer understanding, consumer activation, EC fundamentals and standard operation process building. The candidate should have strong motivation to work from ambiguity to clear trade marketing strategy, and have firmed mind to commercialize strategy from blue print to action plans. The candidate should have strong capability to articulate things briefly and structurally, get things done by effectively influencing others. The candidate should also have extensive cross-functional experience and could integrate cross-functional knowledge organically. The candidate should be very hands-on to get things done from initial to end. Specifically, the following attributes are important to make the candidate successful on this position:

HQ trade marketing experience from leading FMCG companies, marketing, regional trade marketing/field sales/KA experience is a plus;

Good at brand building, customer engagement, shopper/consumer activation, promotion planning;

Good at promoter/POSM agency/partner communication and management;

Good at promoter capability building and selling skill enhancement;

Strategic and foresight thinking: Has dissatisfaction with status quo; big picture orientated with attention to details; 

Analytical skill and business planning: ability to sort out complicated information and develop strategies;

Understanding of customer and trade evolvement;

Understanding of consumer and shopper insight;


Education and Experience

l  Bachelor or above degree major in business administration, marketing and related fields, MBA preferred

l  5-10 years of successful experience in trade marketing related field from leading companies

l  Experience with HQ trade marketing plus other sales/marketing functions is highly preferred

l  Strong independent decision-making, organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills

l  Highly marketing sense and good selling skill

l  Consumer goods industry knowledge is preferred


Specific Knowledge

l  Understand Brand and Marketing Plan Development

l  Understand Trade & Shopper Activation

l  Understand Field Sales Operation

l  Understand different channels, MBS channel experience is a plus

l  Understand Shopper Insight and basic Financial Knowledge

l  Capability of 3rd Party Agency Management


General skills

l  Good Spoken and Written in English and Mandarin

l  Strong Communication and Presentation Skill, both Internal and External

l  Good Computer Skill, Especially on Microsoft Office
