ABOUT THE JOB AND YOU
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Identifying the business demand and assessing the value
- Assess data product demands, quantify business value, and prioritize delivery
- Identify business pain points through user personas/journey mapping, and establish value frameworks
2. Developing and prioritizing the product roadmap
- Develop and maintain product demand roadmap with dynamic prioritization
- Manage backlog alignment with evolving business objectives
3. Guiding development by articulating business challenges and required functionalities
- Articulate the objectives, outcomes, and business value to be delivered by the development team
- Lead user story development, acceptance criteria definition, and technical backlog refinement of the data and AI products
- Facilitate agile ceremonies (stand-ups/reviews/retrospectives) and key stakeholder Show & Tell sessions
4. Ensuring value is delivered in deployments and rollouts
- Design success metrics (leading/lagging indicators) and UAT test scenarios
- Partner with business stakeholders on adoption strategies and post-mortem reviews
5. Stakeholder Collaboration
- Present value propositions to executive sponsors
- Maintain business-tech alignment through continuous feedback loops
Requirements
1. Delivery Focus
- At least 5 years of data product ownership and management experience
- Deep understanding of artificial intelligence technology
- Be able to translate business needs into product design and development
- Hands- on experience on data engineering, data analysis and governance processes
2. Agile Experience
- Experience working within agile teams through at least one of the agile frameworks – Scrum, Kanban etc.
- Demonstrated the ability to break work down into separate areas of discrete functionalities in the form of product epics, features and stories
3. Business Analysis
- Demonstrated strong business analysis skills working with business teams to identify and assess the value of different needs to enable prioritization
4. Collaboration and Communication
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including procurement, manufacturing, supply chain, and sales etc. to ensure the total product lifecycle management
- Demonstrated influence and the ability to have crucial and difficult conversations
5. Experience & Education
- Experience in FMCG or Retail Industry
- Bachelor’s degree or above in computer science, mathematics or equivalent, Master in relevant areas will be a plus
