Danone China

1.  Collaborating with Global, Zone and CBUs, deliver the assigned engineering projects design and execution for brown field, green field, line upgrade, efficiency improvement, trouble shooting and / or automation projects for the Zone. With specialty focus on MEP and UT disciplines, and make sure the standards meeting both Danone and local regulatory requirements.

2. Lead and support capex project when as needed, from scope, due diligence, conceptual design, detailed design, supplier screening, project implementation etc.; and manage the overall deliverables and capex spend under budget.

3.  Study the investment and govern the capex development based on DOA with CBU and Sites.

4.  Feasibility study for different scenarios with investment estimation for management decision.

5.   Engineering Excellence: fine tune the engineering operation protocols and strictly follow the execution with highest standard; Follow Danone Sherpa process. Evaluate and recommendation of technical solutions like site layout, system optimization and/or improve equipment performance etc., and support DIJ (Danone Impact Journey) projects.

6.    Continuously improve Engineering performance and support CBU and sites capability building.

Qualification

1. Strong engineering skillsets and design capabilities in food, beverage, or pharmaceutical industry
2. Experiences in leading engineering and capex projects, and proficient project management skills
3. Strong business knowledge and logical thinking
4. Good knowledge in budgeting and engineering capex, safety management, and compliance protocols
5. Capability to influence cross-function team to drive the best outcomes
6. Good technical knowledge & skills in MEP and Utility area, including but not limited to HVAC, plumbing, electricity, water supply, and utilities etc.

Education and Experience

Minimum bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering or Mechanical Engineering, minimal 10 years of working experience in relevant industries, with at least 5 years capex project management experience.

Engineering experience and background is a must.

 Specific Knowledge

Knowledge and experience in planning and leading capex project;

Working experience in big organization and matrix structure;

Engineering knowledge related to Buildings and MEP, and good self-development skills to adopt latest techniques

Good spoken & written in English and Mandarin

Good skill in MS office, Projects, design software

Good communication skills

High integrity and with ‘can-do’ attitude

Management skill of different stakeholders and drive project goals
