Main Mission
Fortify the company’s ethical standards and respects to bottom lines through conducting planned/assigned compliance investigation & supervision activities for SN (ELN & AMN) business and driving remediation and enhancement measures.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate how our compliance controls are functioning for SN business to identify what works and what does not. The role is expected to conduct supervision activities around agreed risks and prioritized business activities and perform investigations on allegation/concerns; provide subject matter expertise to the business to help focus 1st line monitoring activities; manage case reporting and present monitoring and investigations results to Local Compliance officer and Compliance Committee.
Accountabilities:
- Lead the implementation and maintenance of effective supervision & investigation plans based on business priorities, allegations and high risk areas and drive execution of local investigation plans;
- Establish compliance risk detection mechanism and relevant tool through Data Analytics to proactively identify red flags and conduct follow-up actions, and continuously upgrade risk detection indicators and algorithm to ensure emerging risks under scanning scope.
- Perform compliance investigations on specific cases received from ethics lines and ensure prompt communication of investigation status to identify correct path of action.
- Maintain the records and interactions with whistleblowers in Danone Ethics Lines system to timely follow up and close the cases. Provide periodical analysis and reporting regarding the allegation trend and insights and drive related actions as aligned with mgt team.
- Deliver all required supervision & investigation reports on a timely basis with meaningful insight about the results of investigation and any recommendations for improvement plans or corrective actions;
- Facilitate legal team to take further actions with relevant authorities if needed.
- Participate in LCC meetings to share findings/insights from assurance work align next steps.
- Provide advice and consulting on effective implementation and maintenance of 1st line monitoring activities (subject matter expert advice)
- Other activities under Danone Compliance Program for implementation in CBU/X-CBUs under the instruction from Greater China Compliance Officer, including Compliance training and animation.
Qualifications
- 8+ years’ experience in ethics and compliance investigation work (compliance, audit, investigation, internal control, financial control, monitoring etc) of MNCs.
- Bachelor’s degree or above, major in law, accounting, auditing, finance, business administration etc.
Specific knowledge
- High standards of ethics, trustworthy, operating with absolute discretion
- Comprehensive knowledge of business integrity related laws, regulation, and industry codes and rules
- Solid knowledge of risk assessment, control activities, process management, monitoring activities and investigation related to anti-bribery/corruption, anti-trust, health care regulations and standards and other compliance area.
- Strong analytical capability and solid knowledge in assurance & validation area, including collecting and analysing data, evaluating information and systems, performing root cause analysis and drawing logical conclusion.
- Advanced industrial knowledge of FMCG and food market practice (preferred) and governance environment.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and collaboration attitude
- English as working language.
