Zone QFS COE Director

Job Description & Responsbilities

- Strategic goals:

1. Lead the zone QFS transversal functions, build the expertise, governance and ways of working that supports all the CBU’s in the zone in liaison with global networks. Drive synergies in key QFS topics.

2. Build collaboration with strategic stakeholders in the topics related to QFS to raise Danone profile, support the business and mitigate risk in China.

- Job responsibilities:

1. Build a strong Centre of Expertise (COE) team that covers the areas of: QFS Management System, Analytical Excellence, QFS in Sourcing and QFS External Affairs.

2. Equip the team with the right knowledge and capability that can support the diverse businesses in the zone covering Specialized Nutrition, Dairy and Beverage categories.

3. Assess the common capability need in the CBUs, support capability building with resources from ZONE COE or liaison resources from global network / external world.

4. Set up ways of working with CBUs, animate selected zone networks that drives synergies, learning and best practices sharing among the team.

5. Drive the roll out and implementation of global standards, systems and tools in the zone. Build necessary governance to ensure compliance including zone level internal audits supporting global audit program.

6. Support key strategic projects in the zone with technical expertise in QFS.

7. Build collaboration and alliances with strategic stakeholders in China on topic related to QFS, with a focus on analytical network. Represent Danone in various forums, enhance Danone’s profile and reputation in the field of Quality and Food Safety.

- Position requirement / Critical experience:

1. 10+ years’ experience of QFS management roles in food companies such as QFS head of a CBU and / or in QFS global functions.

2. Experience with SN category is preferred. Experience with more than one product category is a welcomed plus.
