Role Profile

As the APAC brand strategy mgr, this role will be sitting at zone level to drive our growth ambition across APAC countries in various categories: Infant Formula, Water & Beverage, Adult Nutrition, Dairy. He/She will work closely with BUs to unlock brand growth opportunities for our amazing brands like Aptamil, Mizone, Souvenaid, Oikos, Activia, etc.

Precious opportunity to work closely with Danone APAC senior leadership and marketing experts in countries across APAC.

 

Areas of Responsibility

Develop Brand Strategy and proposition

  1. Support APAC brand strategy build-up: Develop category understanding, study competitor landscape, translate consumer insights into strategic pillars that supports our brand strategy and proposition
  2. Category focus: Infant Formula, Water & Beverage, Adult Nutrition, Dairy

Set up Zone Brand intelligence and monitor Brand performance in APAC

  1. Work closely with SIA and set-up Zone Brand intelligence hub and keep enriching the hub with knowledge across APAC
  2. Monitor Brand performance across APAC

Partner closely with local BU marketing

Understand the current business performance, integrated marketing plan, consumer feedback etc. to optimize category and brand strategy

Support Brand assessment in Business Development projects

Work closely with SIA and support the brand assessment in business development projects (M&A)

  1. Ability to work across APAC markets to understand different market/consumer dynamics
  2. Strong strategic thinking to frame strategy development discussions and deliverables
  3. Strong analytical skills to analyze category trend, competitor landscape and develop brand proposition/innovation with meaningful insights
  4. Effective collaboration with SIA team to support special projects

 

Leadership Competencies

  1. Strong strategic thinking, good sense of brand planning and the full business picture
  2. Good communication and interpersonal skills with stakeholders and multi-cross function team
  3. Confidently working with senior stakeholders without losing one’s point of view

 

Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience

 

  1. Minimum university graduate
  2. 4-6 years of strategy consulting/strategic marketing experience in consulting firms or agency side. Similar role in Corporate is a plus.
  3. Have sufficient project experience in FMCG/related industry. IMF, Food & Beverage category background is preferred
  4. Experience in managing international/global communication
  5. Fluent in English and Mandarin in verbal and in written
