Position Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated China Lead Enterprise Architect to join our Enterprise Architecture (EA) team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in aligning technology with business goals across all our China activities, ensuring scalable, secure, and future-ready IT solutions that adhere to Danone standards while considering local specificities.

The China Lead Enterprise Architect will report directly to the Global Chief Enterprise Architect and will be part of the China IT and Data board.

This role requires close collaboration with China local teams, the zone (AMEA CNAO) IT and Data teams, and the global CTO teams to ensure end to end alignment on the IT and Data strategy and transformation.

Key Responsibilities:

Within the Enterprise Architect team, the China Lead Enterprise Architect be expected to:

·       Strategic Alignment:

• Partner with IT and business leaders to understand strategic objectives and translate them into architecture targets and roadmaps.
• Define and maintain the target architecture for China, ensuring alignment with enterprise-wide standards and strategies.
• Collaborate closely with local teams to ensure the quality of deliverables and global consistency across projects and initiatives.

·       Architecture Leadership and governance:

• Lead the development of China-specific architecture blueprints, reference models, and capability maps.
• Ensure architectural governance and compliance with enterprise architecture principles and frameworks through a design authority process.
• Act as a trusted advisor to business and IT stakeholders.

·       Innovation & Transformation:

• Identify opportunities for innovation, modernization, and digital transformation within the domain.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and trends for their applicability and value to the business.
• Design systems that deliver native AI functionality or integrate with Danone’s enterprise AI services.

·       IT Landscape Optimization:

• Provide a global and comprehensive description of the IT landscape.
• Simplify the IT landscape, reduce the number of applications, and optimize costs.
• Manage technical debt.

·       Business and IT Foundations:

• Define group standards, principles, and patterns.
• Define standard business and IT platforms.

·       Enable Solution Delivery:

• Responsible for the overall design of key projects and programs.
• Ensure consistency, reuse, and interoperability across solutions and platforms.
• Contribute significantly to cybersecurity compliance.
• Facilitate architecture reviews, workshops, and decision-making forums.

Qualifications:

·       Experience

o   10+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, with at least 5 years in a domain-specific leadership role.

·       Technical Skills

o   Strong understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks and methodologies.

o   Proven experience in business capability modeling, solution architecture, and technology strategy.

·       Soft Skills

o   Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and strategic thinking skills.

o   Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.

o   Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

·       Business Skills

o   Knowledge of the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry is preferred.
