Role purpose
Lead Fortimel front-end marketing to build future growth, with focus on:
Portfolio & Pipeline Strategy: define growth spaces, portfolio priorities and innovation pipeline direction.
Product Innovation: translate consumer / patient insights into product concepts, validate market potential, and build business cases.
Value Proposition & Asset Creation: develop differentiated value propositions and core assets to support launch and business growth.
Key responsibilities
Build portfolio and pipeline priorities based on market trends, consumer / patient needs, HCP insights, competition and channel opportunities.
Identify target segments, need spaces and usage occasions across surgical recovery, frailty, oncology, obesity and adult nutrition.
Translate insights into clear product concepts, including target audience, benefit, RTB, product role and commercial rationale.
Lead market research and consumer validation, including concept testing, claims testing, pricing research and competitive benchmarking.
Build innovation business cases covering market potential, pricing, volume, revenue, margin and P&L impact.
Develop value propositions, claims hierarchy, product story, key messages and launch assets.
Work with R&D, medical, regulatory, finance and commercial teams to ensure proposals are relevant, feasible, compliant and financially attractive.
Requirements
Bachelor degree or above in marketing, business, nutrition, food science, pharmacy, life sciences or related fields.
8 years’ experience in brand management, innovation and asset development is a must. Open for innovation related technical background (e.g. PD, PM) with a minimum of 3+ years of marketing experience.
Experience in health, nutrition, OTC, functional food or premium FMCG is preferred; FSMP / medical nutrition experience is a strong plus.
Strong capability in turning consumer insights into product concepts and research actions.
Solid business sense, with good understanding of pricing and P&L.
Strong strategic thinking, structured problem solving and storytelling skills.
Able to work with cross-functional and senior stakeholders.
High ownership, curiosity and passion for health / nutrition solutions.
Native-level Chinese proficiency is required; fluent English is a strong plus.
Management trainee background is preferred.
