BACKGROUND & MISSION

This role needs to continuously review and assess our business’ compliance risks, implement compliance programs in concerned functions/areas to minimize such risks and provide solutions with professional business acumen, and ensure an enhanced company culture of Ethics and Business Integrity to achievement of business strategy in a compliant way.

 

Key Accountabilities of Role

  1. Review and implement compliance policies and procedures at all locations of China AMN SU to ensure compliance in all aspects of the Company’s business activities.
  2. Implement standard Compliance Trainings in responsible BU/functions as per the training matrix as defined by global Compliance while supplementing it with any additional and specific Training necessary and appropriate for China operations.
  3. Provide strategic and effective support on Compliance related issues to responsible functions in a proactive way, partnering with the business to ensure Compliance policies and procedures are understood, accepted and implemented being a key success factor for this role.
  4. Implement the Danone Compliance Program elements and framework as designed and defined by Global Compliance in China AMN SU; Oversee and monitor implementation and effectiveness of the Compliance Program in China AMN SU; and initiate appropriate actions to communicate to all employees in China SU, directly and in coordination with other departments, the importance of compliance and ethical practices.
  5. Implement Compliance Processes as requested or directed by Global & GC Compliance as part of anti-corruption and anti-bribery adequate procedures as for instance but not limited to Risk Assessment, Compliance based retention and management of third parties (due diligence etc.) in China AMN SU.
  6. Initiate value creation activities within business team/departments to drive excellence of Compliance implementation (reflected from DANgo testing results) and healthy growth of business.
  7. Lead or work collaboratively with Greater China Compliance team members to drive implementation of related cross-BU compliance activities at GC level, including but not limited to dedicated compliance campaigns, Compliance Day animation etc.
  8. Support Greater China Compliance Officer to work with China AMN SU on the follow-up of implementation as far as compliance supervision & disciplinary action is required for responsible areas.
  9. Work with Greater China Compliance Officer on the data and report preparation for monthly/quarterly AMN SU management meeting and its follow-up.
  10. Support Greater China Compliance Officer on ad-hoc assignments as per GC Compliance/LRCS needs.

 

Qualifications

  1. Minimum Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing, Finance, Accounting, Legal or a related field.
  2. Proven experience and knowledge in pharmaceutical/healthcare companies.
  3. At least 8 years of relevant professional experience.
  4. High standards of ethics, trustworthy, with a demonstrated ability to operate with absolute discretion and confidentiality.
  5. Solid knowledge of risk assessment, control activities, process management, monitoring activities, and investigations related to anti-bribery/corruption, anti-trust, data privacy, healthcare regulations, and other compliance areas.
  6. Excellent knowledge and understanding of RDPAC guidelines, FCPA, UK Bribery Act, Chinese applicable anti-corruption/anti-bribery laws, etc. A strong network within the RDPAC compliance community is highly desirable.
  7. Deep understanding of marketing and sales practices within the healthcare industry.
  8. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative attitude and the ability to influence stakeholders.
  9. Good command of oral and written English.
  10. Willingness and ability to travel as required by business needs.
