Key Responsibilities
1. Lead the Strategic Planning Cycle
- Own and drive the annual and rolling strategic planning process, ensuring seamless alignment with APAC and global strategic objectives.
- Synthesize market intelligence, competitive analysis, and internal performance data to identify growth opportunities and key success factors for expanding existing and new categories.
- Prepare and present strategic recommendations and performance reviews to Leadership Team on a regular basis.
2. Drive High-Impact Strategic Projects
- Lead and manage a portfolio of mission-critical, cross-functional projects that are central to the company’s strategic transformation and critical investments. Ensure all projects deliver on defined key results, such as achieving stage-gate approvals, securing investment sign-off, and establishing sustainable operational processes for business teams.
3. Foster Cross-Functional Collaboration & Execution
- Lead and influence large, diverse cross-functional teams (X-function) and external partners to drive alignment and flawless execution of strategic initiatives.
- Develop and implement robust project governance, reporting frameworks, and performance tracking mechanisms to ensure transparency and accountability.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience: 5+ years in a premier management consulting firm (e.g., McKinsey, BCG, Bain, etc.). Proven experience in corporate strategy, strategic planning, or business development within a complex, multi-BU corporate environment is a strong plus.
- Strategic & Analytical Thinking: Superior problem-solving skills with the ability to break down complex issues, develop hypotheses, and drive data-based insights.
- Financial & Business Acumen: Strong understanding of business cases, investment analysis, and P&L drivers.
- Project & Program Leadership: Expert in leading large, ambiguous, cross-functional projects from conception to implementation. Demonstrated ability to deliver concrete key results.
- Stakeholder Influence: Exceptional ability to lead without formal authority, influence senior stakeholders (up to Executive Committee level), and drive alignment across diverse teams.
- Agility: A self-starter comfortable with ambiguity, capable of managing a dynamic portfolio of priorities in a fast-paced environment.
